In response to the ongoing government shutdown we have begun providing information and assistance to impacted borrowers, including the following:
- A set of government-shutdown-specific FAQs have been compiled, which is accessible to borrowers via a quick link button on CenNet. These FAQs detail mortgage-assistance options, including forbearance, and include a toll-free assistance number.
- We have placed a government-shutdown-specific message on the Cenlar Alert Box within CenNet, linking to the FAQs.
- Created a dedicated transfer line for customer interaction agents to transfer borrowers needing assistance to the default call center.
- We are coding loans that have been impacted.
