In these challenging times, we’re here to give you the answers you need and the help you want.
Cenlar FSB is proud to be the nation’s leading mortgage loan subservicer. As a federally chartered wholesale bank, we deliver customized servicing solutions unrivaled in quality, innovation, and flexibility. We work with banks, thrifts, credit unions, and mortgage companies—some of the most recognized financial services brands today.
What do we do, exactly? Once a borrower accepts a mortgage loan, we take care of the on-going, day-to-day management of the loan—from monthly payments, escrow, and taxes to communication with borrowers to make sure they feel confident, engaged, and informed about important administrative details and the latest regulations.
Caring for our clients, borrowers, employees, and communities—during the pandemic and beyond
During the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve all learned that our house is more than just our home. It’s also our home base, our safe spot, our office, our kids’ classroom, our entertainment space. Now more than ever, our home is the center of our life—and with things as they are, people are feeling a great deal of stress about their ability to pay their mortgage.
While no one could have anticipated the breadth and scope of the pandemic, Cenlar was prepared. We engaged our internal business continuity task force early on to direct our readiness, enact our plan, and take action as needed as the virus spread.
We’re still taking precautions
Over the course of the pandemic to date, our team has enabled the vast majority of our employees to work remotely, so that critical business functions can continue while the health and well-being of our team is preserved.
Like many companies, we dramatically decreased staff in our locations and stopped business and interoffice travel. We’re cleaning more frequently, and we’re using government-approved cleaning agents, made disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer available to our onsite employees, and stressed the importance of thorough hand washing as well as personal behaviors that can mitigate the spread of germs.
Communication and support
The coronavirus pandemic is not an excuse for doing less. Instead, it’s a reason to do more. More for our clients. More for their borrowers. More for our employees. And we won’t let up.
