Cenlar Appoints One Executive and Promotes Five Leaders

Cenlar, a commercial bank and leading mortgage loan subservicer, today announced that Fauzia Rary has been appointed Senior Vice President & Chief Enterprise Data Officer and five leaders have been promoted. 

Fauzia Rary, to Senior Vice President & Chief Enterprise Data Officer. Fauzia will define, drive and implement Cenlar’s enterprise-wide data strategy, governance and architecture. She will oversee data quality, accessibility, security and ethical use throughout Cenlar while collaborating with senior leaders to align data initiatives with our business objectives. She has 25 years of experience in mortgage servicing industry focused on data strategies. Her previous experience includes positions at National Mortgage Insurance, Citi Bank and JP Morgan Chase.

Our promoted leaders include: 

Matthew Conner, to Vice President of Loss Mitigation Advocate & Loss Mitigation. Matt oversees Default Call Center, Liquidations and Loss Mitigation functions. He brings more than 15 years of expertise in the default servicing space. He has held prior leadership roles at Mr. Cooper.

Jonathan Hassler, to Senior Vice President of Loss Mitigation & Loss Mitigation Advocate. Jonathan is an experienced leader in the mortgage industry and has spent his career specializing in loss mitigation, process improvement and change management. His experience includes loss mitigation leadership roles at firms like LoanCare, U.S. Bank and Saxon Mortgage.

Rena Madia, to Senior Vice President of Contact Center. Rena joined Cenlar is 2013. She brings more than 20 years of experience in customer and client experience and leadership across the mortgage and financial services industries. Rena oversees Cenlar’s contact center operations across multiple sites and service channels, ensuring homeowners receive knowledgeable, compassionate and efficient support. 

Nora Viggiano, to Vice President of Contract Administration. Nora oversees the review and negotiation of client contracts and renewals. Nora has 10 years of mortgage industry experience working on a wide range of transactions, including onboarding new business partners, renewing agreements with existing clients, and supporting private security and financing arrangements. Prior to Cenlar, Nora practiced as an associate attorney for a default foreclosure firm. She recently completed the Mortgage Bankers Association’s School of Mortgage Banking Program, earning the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation. Nora holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. 

Cheryl Young, to Senior Vice President of Default Management. Cheryl has more than 30 years of industry experience, focusing on bankruptcy, foreclosure, non-routine / contested matters, REO, title and supporting our legal partners. She obtained her J.D. in 1993 and has worked for both firms and title companies that support the mortgage and residential real estate community, as well as directly for several mortgage servicers in business operations including PHH/Cendant and GMAC/Ocwen. She is currently a member of the USFN Servicer Advisory Group.
