Cenlar Appoints Ramesh Lakshminarayanan to Chief Enterprise Risk Officer

Cenlar, a commercial bank and leading mortgage loan subservicer, announced today that Ramesh Lakshminarayanan has been appointed Chief Enterprise Risk Officer. Ramesh brings decades of expertise in the mortgage and banking industries, having worked at leading financial institutions such as Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.

In this newly created role, Ramesh will oversee all risk-related functions and play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) as Cenlar grows its banking division.

“I am excited that Ramesh will lead the ERM team as Chief Enterprise Risk Officer. With his background in advancing the strategic direction of organizations – from startups to established global enterprises within the financial services, mortgage and real estate sectors, I am confident in his ability to manage risk as we expand our capabilities in the banking sector,” said Cenlar CEO and President David Schneider.

In addition to his roles at Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase, Ramesh more recently served as a banking consultant for Risk Mate LLC, helping mortgage and fintech clients identify new strategies and opportunities within their respective industries. He was also Chief Risk Officer at Mr. Cooper.

“I am thrilled to join Cenlar’s team and build a stronger, smarter culture of risk management that supports the long-term success of our company and clients,” said Ramesh.
