Our persistent investment in people continues to position Cenlar for success into the future. Our vision is to be a modern, agile and service-focused organization that puts the client and their homeowners at the center of everything we do, every single day.

Our talented employees are always eager to come to the table with creative and innovative ideas to better serve Cenlar and our stakeholders. That’s why we recently created the Cenlar Director Rotation Program, which is designed for employees to work closely with Cenlar Senior Leadership on strategies that are critical to our future.

We have such tremendous talent at Cenlar and the process of selecting members to the Cenlar Director Rotation Program was a rigorous one. Each candidate was tasked with providing a persuasive presentation and experienced a panel interview. Finalists then engaged with our Chief Risk Officer and me to make sure the rotation selected for the individuals aligned well with their ambitions. Candidates who demonstrated proven leadership abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication capabilities were selected. While all the candidates were impressive, three stood out. The new team members include:

Director of the Contact Center, Shaun Flowers, will accelerate the development and application of Cenlar’s Agile methods. Agile isn’t just a buzzword – it’s a mindset that allows us to be more flexible, responsive and collaborative in how we work. At Cenlar, Agile means we can make decisions faster, adapt to changes in the market more seamlessly and improve the way we serve our clients. For employees, that translates into less time spent on repetitive processes and more focus on improving outcomes for our clients and homeowners.

Director of Default, Sam Stremlau, will help our Chief Risk Officer Sara Avery with coordinating   Regulatory Strategy. As part of this work, Sam will work closely with Sara to oversee the execution of our regulatory strategy where it is critical we demonstrate our continued commitment to compliance, while fostering trust and transparency with regulators.

Director of Default, Shannon Tomasso, will participate in a generative AI pilot that will serve as the basis for evolving our AI strategy. This strategy aims to foster innovation, teach new skills, and accelerate the development and deployment of solutions to improve our efficiency, effectiveness, and the experiences we deliver to our clients and homeowners while keeping a human in the loop.

The rotation program is a significant investment in our talent and growth. By providing high-performing directors with the opportunity to engage in critical projects, we are not only fostering their professional development but also driving our company’s strategic goals forward. We are committed to continuing this initiative, with plans to expand it across different levels of the organization.

Here’s to this team and the continued growth of our talented Cenlar employees!
